Nine segments · one workbook · the October reclassification
You’ve heard me talk about the rebuild. This is the whole method, in order, in one place — nine short segments and a workbook you fill in as you go.
I’ve been answering the same question since June: what actually changes in October? It takes forty minutes on a call, and I end up drawing the same thing on the same whiteboard every time.
So I built it once, properly — nine short segments, the method in the order I actually use it, and the worksheets I fill in when I do this work with a client.
The part almost everyone has wrong isn’t the increase. It’s what happens to the people already on your team. That’s the next thing on this page.
Self-paced. Instant access. One payment, yours to keep.

Most owners now know the dates: the first stage is dated 1 October 2026, with four more stages behind it out to 2030, stacking on top of the annual wage review rather than being absorbed by it.
What far fewer have is the second test.
Anyone classified under this award on 30 September 2026 is entitled to the higher of two rates — the new band rate they translate into, or the minimum their old classification carried. Whichever is higher is the lawful minimum for that person.
It is a comparison, and it has to be run one person at a time. Which is why a calculator that shows you a new band rate has answered a question you didn’t ask: for someone already on your team, the lawful minimum can sit materially above it.
REBUILD teaches you how that comparison works and exactly what you need in front of you to run it on your own people. Which is the only way it can be run — the answer is in your records, and this is how you read them.
Every clinic gets one clean moment to reset its classifications on purpose. It has a date on it.
This is for you if
Nine segments, three modules
Around ten minutes each, so a module fits in a lunch break. Each segment builds its model on screen as the explanation runs, and each one has a sheet in the workbook that asks you to record a fact you already have — a date, a name, what a document actually says. You enter your team once and every sheet after that carries them across, so by the last segment the workbook has built itself into a single register: one row per person, every fact on it.
Don’t take my word for it
“Shane had literally done what I was trying to do. My own ego almost stopped me — I figured I could do this myself. In four months we went from the early fifties to just under $70K a month. It’s way simpler now.”
Ryan Taylor — Director, Glide Physio“Shane has a way of cutting through the noise and giving you exactly what you need to move forward in your business. I’ve done other coaching programs, but this one stood out.”
Nim Dahanayake — Practice Principal, Croydon Sports Injury & Spinal ClinicClients of the firm’s advisory practice — the work this method comes out of. They speak to the work, not to the course.
The whole thing
From owners who’ve taken the course
“All very clear and easy to understand.”
Mayur Jivanjee — TRP Physio, Melbourne“I thought it was good and that it provided a clearer picture of the requirements and the way we need to proceed through the process… I liked the worksheets and how they took you stepwise through the process. They were very helpful and I think it will be great for when I meet with my staff in the next few weeks.”

REBUILD covers the October reclassification — the one-off translation every clinic has to do before the new structure starts. That is a finite piece of work with a date on it, and this is the method for doing it. It is not a subscription, it is not a rates service, and it does not undertake to track the award for you afterwards.
This is the method the firm runs inside paid engagements, taught in full. It is $197 because the alternative is teaching it one call at a time.
This price is valid until midnight, Monday 31 August
AUD, incl. GST. One payment. Prices rise on 1 September.
Before you get access you’ll be asked to read and sign a short enrolment acceptance — that REBUILD is education, not advice about your clinic.

There is one tick-box on the payment page. This is what it is.
REBUILD tells you which classification a person lands in. The calculators tell you what that classification costs — priced across every stage date, so you can see the shape of it coming rather than meet it in a pay run.
They price the bands; they don’t decide them. Which classification someone is in is the work the course teaches, and it is the input these need to be worth anything. Every figure they produce moves when the Commission republishes, and they say so on screen. Skip the box and nothing about the course changes.
Sit down with your team list, your contracts and your dates, and establish where each person lands under the new structure — with the reasoning written down while it is still contemporaneous. Most of you will run it in an afternoon and won’t need to call me about it, which is the point of selling a method rather than an engagement.
Some of you will get three people in and hit one that isn’t standard — a career break, an overseas qualification, a title that was generous rather than accurate. You’ll know exactly what you’re looking at and which question to ask, which is worth a great deal more than guessing. If you’d then rather have someone work through the hard ones with you, that’s a much shorter conversation once you understand the machinery.
What no course can do is make the call for a named person on your team. That answer lives in your records, and nothing that hasn’t read them can produce it — so REBUILD teaches you to read them properly. Finishing it doesn’t make your clinic compliant and isn’t evidence that it is; nothing sold as a course could be.
And if you’d rather wait for the final figures: you’ll be waiting for a republication whose date isn’t published. The figures change. The list of people, dates and documents you need in front of you does not.
Because there isn’t a final one. On 14 August 2026 the Commission published a revised draft of the new rates, folding in the 2026 annual wage review — but it stays a draft until the final determination issues, after submissions close on 28 August. A course built on draft figures would need re-recording the day the final lands.
The method doesn’t have that problem — establish the classification, establish the anchor date, run the higher-of comparison. Those steps hold whatever the numbers turn out to be, which is exactly why the reclassification can be done before the final figures exist. When they publish, you apply them to a classification you have already established and evidenced.
It’s the classification method the firm runs inside paid engagements, taught in full. What it isn’t is the engagement: advisory work looks at your actual contracts, payroll and people and produces determinations for named individuals. REBUILD never sees any of that and never makes a determination about a person.
Ellen — Culture Of One’s AI presenter. The voice and the on-screen presenter are synthesised, not filmed. We say so here rather than let you find out in segment one.
What is not synthesised is the substance. The method is the one Shane Gunaratnam runs inside paid engagements; he wrote the scripts, the worksheets and every figure in them, and he reviewed all nine segments before they went on sale. If something in the course is wrong, that is on him, not on a model.
The reason it is built this way is that the award phase-in moves. A synthesised presenter means a determination that lands in October costs one re-recorded paragraph instead of a reshoot, so the course stays current instead of quietly going stale.
No. Culture Of One is a business advisory firm, not a law firm and not a workplace-relations practice. REBUILD is general information about how the award works — it doesn’t take account of your clinic, your contracts or any individual’s circumstances, because it never sees them. The enrolment acceptance you sign before access says exactly that.
What it does is show you how to read your own — so you walk into the conversation with your accountant or your HR adviser holding a list instead of a question.
Between now and the first stage there is one moment where a clinic can look at every classification it holds, work out what the evidence actually supports, and write the reasoning down while it is still contemporaneous. Reasoning recorded at the time is a position. The same reasoning reconstructed two years later is a reconstruction, and everybody involved can tell the difference.
That moment doesn’t require final rates. It requires a list, some dates, and a method for reading them.
Education, not advice. REBUILD is general information about the Health Professionals and Support Services Award (MA000027). It is not legal, accounting or workplace-relations advice, it does not take account of any particular clinic or person, and completing it is not a compliance determination and is not evidence that anyone is being paid correctly. Before you change anyone’s classification or pay, and before you act on a shortfall you think you have found, get advice on your own circumstances from someone who can look at your contracts and your pay records.
Rates are not final. On 14 August 2026 the Fair Work Commission published a revised draft determination for the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020, folding the 2026 annual wage review into the new rates ([2026] FWCFB 216, case AM2024/20). It stays a draft until the Commission issues the final determination, which follows the close of technical submissions on 28 August 2026. Wherever a figure appears in the course or in any tool supplied with it, treat it as an estimate that moves when the determination issues, and again after each later annual wage review.
AI presenter. REBUILD is presented by Ellen, Culture Of One’s AI presenter. The voice and the on-screen presenter are synthesised; no part of the course is a recording of a person speaking. The method, the scripts, the worksheets and every figure are Shane Gunaratnam’s work and were reviewed by him before release.
Launch pricing. $197 for REBUILD, $100 for the Calculators, until 11:59pm AEST Monday 31 August 2026. From 1 September 2026 the prices are $297 and $200. Neither product has ever been sold above its launch price; the later figures are future prices, not former ones.
